LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: „A blend of 63% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Quinault L’Enclos has a pH of 3.8 and a deep garnet-purple color. It shoots from the glass with bold notions of Morello cherries, juicy blueberries, and baked black plums, leading to an undercurrent of dark chocolate, violets, and menthol. The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with bags of black fruits and a floral finish."

DECANTER: "Perfumed and nicely aromatic, smells rich but not too intense with roses and soft purple floral notes. You get a sense of the power and structure, it’s on the tannic side, massy, wide and full, with ripe dark fruit flavours and spices but given lift by mouthwatering acidity and some crispness. Compact and a bit coiled, serious but well worked. 3.88pH. Less than 20hl/ha yield, because of the frost."

JEB DUNNUCK: "I don't see the 2022 Château Quinault L'Enclos matching the 2019 or 2020, but it's clearly an outstanding wine. Based on 63% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, it's a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and structured red, with ripe blackcurrant and plum fruits, some scorched earth and chocolate nuances, firmer tannins, and a good finish. It should come together nicely in bottle."

WEINWISSER: "63 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 17 % Cabernet Franc. Feingliedriges Bouquet, zarte rotbeerige Konturen, getrocknete Heublume und Johannisbeerdrops. Am kompakten Gaumen mit weicher Textur, gut unterlegter Rasse, reifem Extrakt und mittlerem Körper. Im gebündelten feinaromatischen Finale Preiselbeernektar, Rosmarin und feinmürbe Adstringenz. Lese vom 30. August - 16. September. In den Nächten des 03. und 04. März kam es zu Frostschäden. 2028 – 2045."
