JAMES SUCKLING: "Very sophisticated and structured yet weightless and agile, with a finesse, precision and length that is so wonderful. So precise and complex with vivid acidity and length. Such clarity. Really excited about this one."
JEB DUNNUCK: "Up with the crème de la crème, the 2022 Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc is based on 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Sémillon, all of which is still aging in 50% new French oak. It has an incredible bouquet of honeyed citrus, grapefruit, and flowers to go with medium to full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It’s concentrated, has a great texture, nicely integrated acidity, and a brilliant finish. Yields here were a miniscule 18 hectoliters per hectare, and the Grand Vin is a selection of only 44% of the total production."
LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: „The 2022 Malartic Lagraviere Blanc needs a little swirling to unlock notes of Golden Delicious apples, white peaches, and fresh straw, leading to hints of coriander seed and white pepper. The medium-bodied palate coats the mouth with expressive apple and pear flavors, framed by seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy."
2024 – 2034."
THE WINE ADVOCATE: "A strong effort, the 2022 Malartic Lagravière Blanc reveals aromas of Anjou pear, spring flowers, verbena, linden and mint, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate with good depth and flesh. Fresh and racy, this will offer a broad drinking window."
