DECANTER: "Juicy, supple and nicely balanced, tannic still but they give frame and support to the cool fruits rather than overpowering. Nice direction and energy, this will be for easy drinking with soft perfume, raspberries, delicate herbal scents and sweet cherries. Feels well worked and enjoyable with freshness and a sense of finesse. Slick and controlled. Harvest 15 September-6 October. Yield of 40hl/ha."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Black and red fruits with nuances of tobacco leaf, and espresso beans open the wine. On the palate, the wine is ripe, sweet, round, and forward, finishing with sweet, cherries, toasty oak, and chalky tannins on the backend. The wine blends 60% Merlot with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink from 2025-2038."
