JAMES SUCKLING: "Lavender and berries with currants, chocolate and some orange peel. Full and finely tannined. Layered. Juicy. Fine texture. Silk. Pure merlot."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "With a floral, chocolate and plummy character, the wine is lush, dark and polished. On the palate, you find layers of spicy plums, cocoa and a touch of chocolate-orange in the finish. The wine is produced from 100% old vine Merlot. Drink from 2026-2042."

DECANTER: "Forward and fruity, a tangy grip to the freshly picked strawberries and raspberries and red cherry fruit. Almost delicate, the tannins are really well worked just giving a soft grip to the palate, but balancing the acidity and fruitiness. Juicy and slightly lean but this really works and is very apprahable and agreeable. Lovely freshness and push from start to finish. Great job. HVE certified."
