THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Blackberries, currants, tobacco leaf, underbrush, and fennel on the nose let you know the wine is going to be good. And with the first sip, you are not disappointed due to all the currants, roundness, and ripe, sweet, blackberries with freshness on display. Drink from 2026-2047."

DECANTER: "Concentrated fruits on the nose and palate, lovely intensity of pure fruit - this has clarity and a juicy core. Feels a touch tannic right now, covering up some of the fruit, but the initial expression was really delightful and this should be nice once the tannins melt a little. This has style and a juicy fun friendliness. A touch dry on the end, but not disconcerting. Harvest 19 September- 7 October. Ageing for 12 months in French oak, 33% new, 33% one year old, 33% two years old."
