JAMES SUCKLING: "A juicy red with redcurrants and flowers. Dark stones, too. Medium body with creamy tannins and a juicy finish. Polished and balanced."

DECANTER: "Ripe and full on the palate, dense but lively black fruit fills the mouth with softly chewy tannins giving some power as well as definition. Quite a serious wine but has the right balance between too much and too little. Dense and tannic no doubt but has life and style. 3.65pH. Ageing in 20% french new oak barrels. Harvest September 8 - September 22.Rolland & Associés consultants."

FALSTAFF: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zarte Edelholznote, etwas Schokolade, dunkle Waldbeeren, dezente Kräuterwürze ist unterlegt. Saftig, reife Kirschen, angenehme Fruchtsüße, frisch strukturiert, Nugat im Abgang, ein vielseitiger Speisenbegleiter, der bald antrinkbar sein wird."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Blackberries, black cherries, flowers, tobacco leaf, cedar, and espresso nuances form the core of this wine. On the palate, the wine is creamy, lush, round, and packed with sweet, juicy, dark red fruits with notes of espresso and chocolate that come through on the finish. The wine blends 59% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Cabernet Franc. You can enjoy this in its youth. Drink from 2025-2040."

WEINWISSER: "Konzentriertes schwarzbeeriges Bouquet, dunkles Edelholz, Brasiltabak und Lakritze. Am sehr geradlinigen Gaumen mit engmaschigem Tanninkorsett, der sehnige Körper ächzt unter der Muskellast. Im gebündelten Finale verschlankt sich der Haut-Médoc, Pflaumenhaut, edle Cassiswürze und feinmürbe Adstringenz. 2029 – 2045."
