Am geradlinigen Gaumen mit weicher Textur, straff stützender Rasse und trainiertem Körper. Im gebündelten Finale ein Korb mit Schattenmorellen, Brasiltabak und dunklem Graphit. 2029 – 2045."

DECANTER: "Supple and juicy with nicely textured tannins that give both a cool blue fruit, slate edge as well as some bounce. There's such an ease about this, balanced and harmonious, nothing too much, it's certainly not too opulent or tannic, but delivers an almost delicate take on the vintage. Linear and focussed, stylish and confident with a hint of the Pomerol power and seduction underneath. Nice potential here. Confident but quietly charming. I really like it."

FALSTAFF: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung. Frische rote Herzkirschen, ein Hauch von Pflaumen, etwas Velours und Tabak, würzig unterlegtes Bukett. Mittlere Komplexität, rotbeerige Textur, gute Frische, integrierte Tannine, salziger Nachhall, sicheres Entwicklungspotenzial."

LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: „Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 La Grave features open-knit scents of kirsch, mulberries, and juicy black plums, leading to touches of spice cake and cedar. The full-bodied palate is chock full of ripe black fruits, framed by lightly chewy tannins, finishing with impressive length. The blend this year is 89% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc."
