FALSTAFF: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Kandierte Veilchen, Lakritze, schwarze Kirschen, ein Hauch von Nugat und Edelholz, einladendes Bukett. Komplex, stoffig, elegant, feine Extraktsüße, integrierte Tannine, feine schokoladige Nuancen im Abgang, große Länge, ein klassischer seidiger Pomerol, hoher Genussfaktor."
WEINWISSER: "74 % Merlot, 26 % Cabernet Franc. Betörendes Bouquet, Cassisblüten gepaart mit edler Eukalyptusnote, Flieder und Veilchen, dahinter verschwenderisches Heidelbeergelee und frischer Holundersaft. Am femininen Gaumen mit einer Textur wie Samt und Seide, kakaoartigem Tannin, tänzerisch-schwebender Rasse und wohlgeformtem Körper. Im konzentrierten Finale ein Crescendo blauer Beeren, Graphit und erhabene Adstringenz. Rarer Pomerol, der auf jede Einkaufsliste gehört. 2029 – 2049."
THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "This is a great Hosanna! The wine is dark in color, with a boatload of black plums to match. There is richness, concentration, opulence, length, purity, and seemingly non-stop waves of cashmere-textured, black and dark red pit fruits, all touched by chocolate and spices. The harvest took place September 24 - October 6. Drink from 2027-2055."
DECANTER: "Pretty nose, sweet fruits and gorgeous perfumed flowers that makes the scent so inviting. Round, supple and generous, a delicate hand in terms of tannic weight, they are fine with a light but firm grip so you get the promise of power but no weight. Retains a sense of cool classicism with well defined edges and waves of cool blueberries, black cherries and slate. Certainly a more delicate Hosanna than I was expecting with bright acidity, a touch of spice on the mid palate and clean mineral lines to the finish. Shy still but gorgeous promise here. Feels polished and elegant, with a devilish undertone of power. Has that juicy acidity as well that some don't have, the succulence and sense of joy and fun that is so special and appealing. Stands out for it's sense of happiness."
LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: „The 2022 Hosanna is a blend of 74% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc, sporting a deep garnet-purple color. After a swirl or two the most gorgeous perfume of red roses, juicy black cherries, and black raspberries erupts from the glass, followed by wafts of crushed rocks, cast iron pan, and unsmoked cigars. The full-bodied palate is very tightly wound with loads of bright red and black fruit layers, framed by ripe, fine-grained tannins and beautiful freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Beautiful."
JEB DUNNUCK: "The 2022 Château Hosanna comes from iron-rich, blue clay soils and is 74% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc that was harvest between the 5th and 19th of September. It has a perfumed, lifted, floral bouquet of blue fruits, candied violets, orange blossom, and spice. This carries to a full-bodied, rich, concentrated, firm Hosanna with plenty of tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. I don't see this matching the truly great vintages from this château, but it's clearly an impressive Pomerol."
THE WINE ADVOCATE: "Offering up aromas of blackberries, minty blackcurrants, licorice and spices, the 2022 Hosanna is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a broad, velvety attack that segues into a layered, fleshy mid-palate of ripe but lively fruit that's framed by polished tannins. This is always one of the more extravagant wines in the Mouiex portfolio, but in 2022 its exuberance remains in check."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Discreet but complex. Red-fruit fragrance with a floral nuance. Tannins ripe and long providing a smooth-textured feel. Clean, long finish. Not the most exuberant but plenty of substance."
