Weinwisser: "93 % Merlot, 3.5 % Cabernet Franc, 3.5 % Cabernet Sauvignon. Dicht verwobenes Bouquet, zarte Anklänge an Wildkirsche, erkalteter Waldfrüchtetee, getrocknete Rosenblätter und Veilchenduft. Am tiefgründigen, maskulinen Gaumen mit seidiger Textur, feinsandigem Extrakt, nerviger Rasse, tiefschürfender Terroirwürze und muskulösem Körper. Im konzentrierten, langanhaltenden Finale eine volle Ladung dunkler Graphit, Wacholder und mehlige Adstringenz. Kann noch zulegen dank gewaltigem Lagerpotenzial. 2030 – 2060."

Decanter: "Supple and energetic, this has a lovely dynamism and purity straight away, clean and clear, tangy but tannic so you get brightness and power. It's on the more tannic side right now, filling and upfront, but they have a nice texture and weight and the fruit intensity really carries the liveliness all the way through - picked just ripe, or just before, I think. Nicely accessible and a softer more approachable style from Gazin. A little atypical and the better for it. A yield of 26hl/ha. Tasted twice."

Falstaff: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Reife rote Herzkirschen, etwas Nugat, zart nach Kräutern und Feigen. Straff, rote Fruchtnuancen, integrierte Tannine, mineralisch, fester Körper, bleibt haften, Erdbeeren im Nachhall, frischer Speisenbegleiter mit Zukunftspotenzial."
