Decanter: "Smells potent on the nose. Supple and juicy, quite direct, clean and lean with salty but also ripe and concentrated blackcurrants and bramble fruits. The tannins are at the fore with a crushed stone and chalky powdery texture. Rich and quietly powerful, with persistence from start to finish. Mouthwatering acidity nicely counters the ripe fruit while giving an appealing lift on the finish. Highly charged, bold and generous but still retains a certain charm and moreish quality. HVE certified. A yield of 38hl/ha."

Falstaff: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zarte Röstaromen, schwarze Waldbeeren, dunkle Kirschen, ein Hauch von Gewürznelken. Saftig, elegant, Herzkirschen, frischer Säurebogen, mineralisch und anhaftend, dezente Extraktsüße im Abgang, besser denn je."
