JAMES SUCKLING: "Crunchy and fruity with blackberry, dark chocolate and some bark character. Medium body. Creamy texture. Balanced and attractive."
DECANTER: "Bright and gently vibrant, this has good density and succulence, both a depth and a sense of liveliness which is quite captivating. I like the clean, mineral grip you get on the tongue and this has good persistence. Straight, linear and sleek, but well worked, tannins are excellent and this has good depth, weight and balance. A really appealing wine, a touch serious, but good stuff. Harvest 8-21 September. 3.5pH. Yield of 48.9 hl/ha. Ageing for 12 months in French oak, 30% new."
