James Suckling: "A juicy and nicely chewy young red with crushed stone and salt, with black berry and blueberry character. Medium-bodied with excellent tannins and a persistent finish. Crunchy. 70% merlot, 25% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon."

Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2022 Château Faugères comes from the cooler eastern edge of Saint-Emilion, and it looks to be a beautiful wine in the vintage. Ripe black cherries, leather, dried herbs, and loamy earth all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a balanced, elegant mouthfeel and ripe, yet building tannins. It's going to shine with just a few years of bottle age."
