JAMES SUCKLING: "Dark cherries, chocolate and wet stones with medium to full body and velvety tannins. Shows depth and length. Chewy. A little closed. Let’s see from bottle."

FALSTAFF: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Zart nach Roten Ribiseln, ein Hauch von Kirschen, zarte Kräuterwürze, tabakige Nuancen. Mittlere Komplexität, rote Beeren, präsente, integrierte Tannine, mineralisch, salzig, bietet unkompliziertes Trinkvergnügen."

THE WINE ADVOCATE: "Aromas of sweet berries, licorice and petals introduce the 2022 Bel-Air (Pomerol), a medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy wine that's supple and seamless, exhibiting a touch more depth than usual. It's a strong effort from sandy gravel soils in the Bourgneuf sector of Pomerol."

JEB DUNNUCK: "Red and black plums, darker cherries, chocolate, and classic Pomerol damp earth emerge from the 2022 Château Bel-Air (Pomerol), a medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, forward Pomerol that certainly does well in the vintage. Coming from more sandy soils and all Merlot that’s currently resting in 30% new barrels, it might be the finest vintage I've tasted from this château."
