FALSTAFF: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Frische rote Herzkirschen, rote Waldbeeren, etwas Lakritze und frische Orangenzesten. Saftig, elegant, feine fruchtige Süße, lebendig strukturiert, mineralisch und anhaftend, ein delikater, gut entwickelter Speisenbegleiter."

JAMES SUCKLING: "A firm and savory red with blackcurrants, volcanic salt and hints of bark. Medium body. Fresh finish."

DECANTER: "Round and juicy, a nice ease about this with supple tannins - really well textured, creamy, chalky, flinty, with soft grip and good intensity from start to finish. Lovely fresh mint and some cedar and liquorice spice on the finish. A little ripe and concentrated, but there's freshness there too. Good persistence, maybe less detailed than some, but a generous, filling mouthful of flavour and lots of cool blue fruits too."

LISA PERROTTI-BROWN: „The 2022 Citran is deep garnet-purple in color. It barrels out with pronounced scents of cassis, plum preserves, and kirsch plus suggestions of licorice, lilacs, and stewed tea. The medium to full-bodied palate is laden with ripe, juicy black fruits, supported by grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing earthy."
