Galloni: "The 2021 Rayne-Vigneau is quite powerful and resonant in this vintage. There's a feeling of phenolic intensity that is almost reminiscent of a red wine, likely a result of very low yields in the field. Pineapple, dried flowers, coconut and tangerine peel are some of the many notes that grace the 2021, a compelling Rayne-Vigneau."

Decanter: "Honeyed caramel, hazelnuts, oranges and lemon and lime zest on the nose. Sweet but so satisfying too on the palate, this is quite opulent but with a fresh apple, peach and apricot centre that is lifted and quite gentle really. It's definitely on the more fresh, lifted, lively side than overtly unctuous but still has the structured and spiced edge to age. Well made with sparkle! This is characterful and playful - giving you sweetness for sure but with mouthwatering energy and verve. A lovely wine this vintage, such a joy to drink. One you want a glass of, and then another! Falstaff: "Mittleres Grüngelb, Silberreflexe. Zitronig unterlegter Blütenhonig, floraler Touch, Limettenzesten, ein Hauch von gelber Tropenfrucht. Saftig, elegant, angenehme Fruchtsüße, gut integrierter Säurebogen, salzig-mineralisch, bereits entwickelt, mittlere Länge."

Robinson: "Cloudy gold. Sherbet-lemon nose. Zesty and fresh on the palate. Real length and drive. Freshness almost sublimates the richness but the fruit is there. Fresh and clean on the finish and very, very long. Drink 2026 - 2045."

Suckling: "Lemon zest, white grapefruit, white lavender, candied almond and spice. Medium-bodied and well balanced with bright acidity. Fresh Sauternes."
