Am saftigen Gaumen mit weicher Textur, herrlicher Extraktfülle, stützendem Tanningerüst und mittlerem Körper. Im gebündelten Finale mit rotbeerigen Konturen, Estragon und fein körniger Adstringenz. Sehr gut gelungen dieses Jahr!"

Jeb Dunnuck: "From an estate that was purchased in 1987 and vinified at Pichon-Longueville Baron, the 2021 Château Pibran is 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot. It has pretty blue fruits as well as medium-bodied richness, fine tannins, good, if not impressive, concentration, and a great finish. Still aging in 40% new barrels, this is the real deal in 2021 and well worth seeking out."

James Suckling: "A fine, spicy and polished Pauillac with a sleek and supple tannin frame. Pretty core of blue and purple fruit with some peppercorns and cloves. All in balance. 63% cabernet sauvignon and 37% merlot."
