James Suckling: "An elegant and fresh Margaux with cherry and currant character. Fresh flowers, too. Medium body, Bright finish."

Decanter: "Ripeness and acidity; sharp and high-toned fruit flavour at the beginning then the tannic weight on the mid-palate - the two not yet in complete harmony but each giving interest to the body. Tannins are fine with a soft-wood spicing and the fruit majors on blackcurrants and black cherries. Great energy at the start which does settle and soften quite quickly - feels well worked with the acidity to age."
