Wine Advocate: "The 2021 Couvent des Jacobins is a real success, delivering aromas of cherries and plums mingled with notions of sweet spices, licorice and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's impressively concentrated, with a lively core of fleshy, succulent fruit and ripe structuring tannins. Denis Pomarède explains that the estate's vineyards were heavily frosted: the two hectares of this 10.5-hectare estate that were spared produced yields of 30 hectoliters per hectare, the rest a derisory four hectoliters per hectare."
