JAMES SUCKLING: "A medium-bodied red with firm, fine and textured tannins. Nice minerality to this, with gravel and black-tea notes. Blackberry and pencil lead, too. Firm finish. Nicely done for the vintage."

DECANTER: "Perfumed blackcurrants and hints of dark chocolate powder on the nose. Beautiful, silky texture, smooth and satisfying. A delicious balance of just-crunchy fruit with fine yet plump tannins giving a round mouthful. Cooling elements come in on the mid-palate, alongside liquorice, clove, cedar and mint, to give frame, spice and freshness. Acidity is well balanced and this has lots of energy to it. A success in 2021 - a wine with mass appeal."
