DECANTER: "Pretty, wild floral notes on the nose alongside fresh raspberry. Supple and agile, this has a lovely ease to it - not showy or too loud, but gentle and calm, delivering chalky, creamy red fruits with soft, fine, graphite-edged tannins. Pleasing acidity gives a persistent if not totally lively lift throughout, and this has an unfussy charm with lovely crushed stone salinity on the finish. No drop in the mid-palate, but lightly flavoured with gentle persistency. Easy to enjoy. Tasted twice."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Violets, cherries, and tobacco leaf show up with ease on the palate. The wine is soft, fresh, polished, silky, vibrant, elegant, and spicy. The finish is loaded with peppery, red currants, a touch of espresso, and spicy plums. Give it a year or two of aging, and enjoy it over the following 15 or more years. Interestingly, this is the first time in ages, if not in history that the blend was dominated by Cabernet. The wine blends 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. 13% ABV. Drink from 2025-2040."

JAMES SUCKLING: "A layered and fine-tannined red with currants and light graphite and stone undertones, Medium body. Fresh, linear finish. Grows on the palate."

FALSTAFF: "Kräftiges Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Frische rote Waldbeeren und Kirschen, zarte Kräuterwürze, mineralischer Touch. Mittlerer Körper, rote Kirschen, gut integrierte Tannine, salzig im Abgang, vielseitig einsetzbar."
