92 FALSTAFF: "Dunkles Rubingranat, tiefer Farbkern, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Frische dunkle Kirschfrucht, einladende Pflaumen, ein Hauch von Orangenzesten, zarte Kräuterwürze. Mittlere Komplexität, feiner Nougat, reife Herzkirschen, dezenter Säurebogen, stoffig und anhaftend, ein kraftvoller Speisenbegleiter."
91 DECANTER: "From the same owners as classified Château Cantemerle in Haut-Médoc, this has firm, dark fruits with well built, flexible tannins. There´s real structure to this wine, with high walls, and it´s enjoyable and well defined. It has a bouncy freshness, joined by blackberry and raspberry coulis notes, if a little more austere than some."
91-92 JAMES SUCKLING: "A tight and focused young wine with blackberry aromas and flavors, buttressing the cedar and dark chocolate character. Complex and subtle for the vintage."
91-93 THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Medium-bodied, floral, soft and polished, this wine delivers a streak of sweet, red fruits on the mid-palate. Give it a few years or so to age and this will be an even better wine."
90-92 JEB DUNNUCK: "The 2018 Château Grand Corbin is mostly Merlot but includes 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging in 40% new French oak, it´s a pretty, elegant Saint-Émilion that has notes of black raspberries, crushed flowers, spice, and ample minerality. Medium-bodied, with good freshness and ripe tannins, it´s certainly an outstanding wine."
