JAMES SUCKLING: "A solid wine that builds on the palate, with depth and length. Not the biggest wine, but I like the medium body and length."

FALSTAFF: "Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Feine Kräuterwürze, tabakig unterlegtes Brombeerkonfit, schwarze Kirschen, zart nach Lakritze. Komplex, saftig, rote Kirschen, ein Hauch von Süße, mineralisch und anhaftend, verfügt über Entwicklungspotenzial."

DECANTER: "Liquorice, tobacco, coffee, slate, graphite, vanilla, cinnamon, crushed stone - all the mineral and slightly savoury elements on the palate giving this an immediately dark style, although it's actually really appealing and marks a change from the very high acidity that is noticeable on many others. Not as fruit-forward perhaps at this stage, the terroir and tannins more on show, but this feels well worked and I love the liquorice and slate aspect at the end. "
