91-93 PARKER: "The top cuvee, the outstanding 2011 La Reserve boasts an opaque purple color as well as a stunning perfume of spring flowers, black currants, forest floor and toasty oak. The wine is opulent, full-bodied, rich, dense and pure with good acidity in addition to ripe, well-integrated tannin. Everything about both cuvees suggests precise winemaking and elevage. Drink the La Reserve over its first 15+ years.
I have been consistently impressed by these two offerings from Haut-Brisson, which is owned by the famous Kuok family of Hong Kong.
